According to FRAC’s Southern Poverty Report, federal nutrition programs are underutilized in the Southern Region for a variety of reasons.
FRAC has developed a communications toolkit to help you spread the word about the benefits of federal nutrition programs in the Regional South, effective strategies for increasing participation, and program recommendations for COVID-19. The toolkit includes the report, interactive data charts, as well as the national news release, a model news release for states, sample social media, and graphics.
