Urge Congress to Continue to Support WIC
FRAC is urging the House to adopt the $8.2 billion funding level for WIC contained in the recently passed Senate bill, a level expected to ensure that all those who apply can participate, and also preserves the WIC Cash Value Benefit (CVB) that provides fruits and vegetables for WIC participants. This bill continues the nearly 30-year bipartisan commitment to fully fund WIC.
Urge Your House Representative to Cosponsor the MODERN WIC Act
Ask your Representative to join the growing list of cosponsors for the More Options to Develop and Enhance Remote Nutrition (MODERN) WIC Act (H.R. 1464). This bipartisan bill creates permanent options for remote enrollment, services, and benefits issuance for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Without Congressional action, these essential modernizations, which reduce barriers to WIC, will expire in September 2026.
