Washington, September 13, 2016 – According to today’s Census Bureau annual release of income, poverty and health insurance data, the 2015 U.S. household median income rose and the poverty rate fell to 13.5 percent, but it is still well above the pre-recession level of 12.5 percent in 2007.
Washington, September 7, 2016 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture released new data today showing that the number of U.S. households experiencing food insecurity declined significantly in 2015, but there are still more than 42.2 million households struggling against hunger.
