As part of the effort to implement Executive Order 13985, “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government,” USDA issued a Request for Information to help them identify opportunities in current USDA policies, regulations, and guidance to address systemic inequities. FRAC submitted a comment in response to this request, drawing from our experience advocating for the federal nutrition programs.
