As part of the effort to implement Executive Order 13985, “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government,” the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) issued a Request for Information (RFI) on how agencies could internally assess the state of equity in their policies, programs, services, processes, and operations. FRAC submitted a comment in response to this request, drawing from our experience advocating for the federal nutrition programs. The comment and attachments are included on this page for download or can be found on the federal register here. In addition, OMB published a public summary of all responses to the RFI, highlighting the results, review process, and key takeaways.
