National School Lunch Week (NSLW) is a celebration of the federal National School Lunch Program, which provides millions of children a nutritious meal each school day.

NSLW 2024 will be observed from October 14 – 18. 

Join FRAC Monday through Friday for opportunities to:

    • increase student participation;
    • share success stories; and
    • advocate for expanded access to school lunch.

  • Monday, October 14: Welcome to #NSLW24!
    Explore our latest School Meals Report and get ready for the week.
  • Tuesday, October 15: Use the FRAC Action Network to Advocate for Nationwide Healthy School Meals for All
    Urge your Member of Congress to cosponsor the Universal School Meal Program Act, which would create a permanent nationwide Healthy School Meals for All program.
  • Wednesday, October 16: Raise Your Hand for Healthy School Meals for All
    Show your support for Healthy School Meals for All! Take a selfie raising your hand for #SchoolMealsForAll and tag your Members of Congress. Be sure to tag @fractweets so that your message can be retweeted.
  • Thursday, October 17: Learn About Increasing School Lunch Participation
    Join FRAC’s webinar, School Lunch: Policies and Practices That Promote Participation, at 3 p.m. Register now.
