Governor LePage’s Threat to Stop SNAP Gambles with People’s Lives, Maine’s Economy
Washington, June 22, 2016 — FRAC opposes Governor Paul LePage’s (R-ME) threats to put a stop to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) in Maine. To do so would jeopardize the well-being of hundreds of thousands of lives as well as the economic prosperity of the state.
