It is endorsed by more than 100 national organizations, representing millions of Americans. These groups include the U. S. Conference of Mayors, Feeding America (then known as the Second Harvest National Food Bank Network), the National Urban League, the AFL-CIO, the League of Women Voters, the Children’s Defense Fund and Catholic Charities, USA.
FRAC and the Campaign provide coordination and support to anti-hunger network of advocates, food banks, program administrators and participants, policy makers and others across the country to expand and protect programs which help children grow and learn, particularly the School Breakfast Program, the Summer Food Service Program for Children, the WIC Program, and programs which provide meals and snacks to children in daycare and before and after school programs.
