FRAC and America's Second Harvest will provide a limited amount of financial assistance, generally in the form of partial scholarships, for individuals with low incomes and organization representatives who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference.

Criteria for assistance include:

  • need of the organization and individual
  • representation from targeted states and areas
  • diversity of attendees (race, geography, age, income, etc.)
  • involvement in building national, state and/or local anti-hunger movement (leadership role in organization, support from organization, etc.)

All scholarship forms, accompanied by a letter detailing financial need for assistance, qualifications with regard to the above-stated criteria, and anticipated expenses, must be postmarked by March 9, 2002. Please submit a separate application form for each applicant.
