A working family whose father's hours have been cut back and a grandmother with her grandchild at the playground are the "stars" of the new Food Stamps Make America Stronger radio ads that USDA will begin airing on stations across the country March 1st. The spots are targeted to run in March and April in the following media markets: Albuquerque, NM; Bakersfield, CA; Boston, MA; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Fresno, CA; Jackson, MS; Las Vegas, NV; Little Rock, AR; Manchester, NH; Miami, FL; Milwaukee,WI; NewYork, NY; Norfolk,VA; Philadelphia, PA; Phoenix, AZ; Quad Cities, IL; Salt Lake City, UT; Savannah, GA; Springfield, IL; Tallahassee, FL; Tampa, FL; Toledo, OH; Tyler, TX; and Wilmington, DE. Separate scripts for free, public service announcements (PSAs) will be forthcoming and may be used in these and additional markets.
