Plan now to attend FRAC’s Annual Benefit Dinner, June 8, 2016 in Washington, D.C.
FRAC hosts a series of webinars and conference calls throughout the year to delve into hunger and the role of the federal nutrition programs.
Meals Matter: FRAC’s Meals Matter monthly training series explores ways to start up and maintain successful child nutrition programs. Previous calls have focused on ways to promote school breakfast programs in the media and in the community, how to engage community partners to build successful afterschool meal programs, and how to recruit sites and sponsors for summer meals.
Webinars: FRAC’s webinars provide an in-depth look at the federal nutrition programs, as well as current trends in hunger and nutrition. Past webinars have focused on new provisions in the Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act, developments with Disaster SNAP, and a review of polling data showing support for federal nutrition programs.
